Research

Being member of Electromagnetic field mapping working group, my research interest is devoted to study the magnetic properties of nanostructures using magnetic imaging techniques with electrons primarily with off-axis electron holography and Fresnel imaging. In particular, a short list of selected topics:

  • magnetic skyrmions;
  • domain walls in hard magnetic alloys;
  • magnetism of low-dimensional materials;
  • in situ study of magnetic and Verwey transitions;
  • magnetosomes and magnetic minerals;
  • ...
