Research

Being member of Electromagnetic field mapping working group, my research interest is devoted to study the magnetic properties of nanostructures using magnetic imaging techniques with electrons primarily with off-axis electron holography and Fresnel imaging. In particular, a short list of selected topics:

magnetic skyrmions;
domain walls in hard magnetic alloys;
magnetism of low-dimensional materials;
in situ study of magnetic and Verwey transitions;
magnetosomes and magnetic minerals;
