Lei Jin

A member of Ernst Ruska-Centre for Microscopy and Spectroscopy with Electrons (ER-C-1). Currently he is financed by the Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) Feodor Lynen Research Fellowship (FLF) for experienced researchers and carry out collaborative research in Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel.

Research

As a member of Electroceramics and nanoeletronic oxides group, my research is dedicated to following topics:

  • Quantitative high-resolution (scanning) transmission electron microscopy
  • High spatial resolution and high energy resolution electron energy-loss spectroscopy
  • Structural defects in oxide bulks and thin films
  • Relationships between microstructure and properties of functional materials
  • Atomic-scale study of functional oxides under working (in situ) conditions
